Facial Trauma and Scar Revision

Dr. Zoumalan has expertise in Scar Revision after accidents and trauma. Most of these procedures can be performed in the office with only some local anesthesia. He also has vast experience in facial trauma reconstruction.

This woman had a fall and cut her lip all the way through. The laceration went through her orbicularis oris muscle, which is the muscle that moves the lips for talking, eating, and making facial movements for the mouth. Dr. Zoumalan performed a complex closure of this incision. The after photo was taken one month after injury.
